Hi there. It's me. David.

I’m David, the designer, maker, printer, and professional sign whisperer behind Sage Sign Co.

If you’re here, you’re either curious about how signs come to life, or you clicked the wrong link and stayed out of politeness. Either way, welcome.

By day, I wield vector files and acrylic sample chips with equal dexterity. By night, I’m usually still doing that because creatives don’t really clock out. This blog is my corner of the internet where I’ll be regularly sharing peeks behind the process: what I’m making, why I’m making it that way, and which materials I choose to turn ideas into tangible (and beautiful) signage and design collateral.

Expect snapshots of real projects, unexpected techniques, and maybe the occasional design hot take. Fonts are one of my biggest passions and trust me... I have plenty to say about them.

Think of this blog as part portfolio, part process journal, served with a side of sarcasm and an obsession for good kerning.

So whether you're a potential client, a fellow maker, or just someone who appreciates a well-aligned block of text, check in from time to time. You’ll get a better idea of the depth and variety of what Sage Sign Co creates. Plus, you might pick up a few tips (or at least some appreciation for the magic of matte black acrylic).

Let’s make something worth staring at.
